Welcome to the newly updated website of The Casino Association of South Africa (CASA). This growing online database now includes CASA’s fifth national survey of the South African casino entertainment industry. As such I hope this site will continue to be an invaluable resource for those who wish to know more about the reality of the South African gaming industry’s economic and social contributions.

I’m confident that the survey will show that these contributions are worthy of attention. In just twelve years, for instance, this new industry has been responsible for more than R16-billion in new investment. In 2007/8 alone it contributed more than R4.4-billion in state and provincial revenue.
